Step 1: Book a courier with Pgeon Prime, DHL eCommerce or J&T Express with a label that indicates ‘Cash on delivery available’.

Step 2: Fill in your sender & receiver details as per usual.

Step 3: Under the column of ‘Cash On Delivery’, select to enable COD and a drop-down will appear for you to key in the ‘COD Amount’ that you want your receiver to pay to the courier.

Step 4: Have your parcel picked up by a courier from your doorstep or drop it off at a courier branch/point.

Step 5: Upon arrival, courier rider will collect cash payment from the receiver.

Step 6: Make a withdrawal for your shipments within 7-14 working days once it is delivered. Status will be changed from ‘Pending’ to ‘To Release’ on the ‘COD Settlement‘ page to request for the COD amount to be released into your bank account.
*For more info on status, scroll down our blog to refer to our FAQ.

Step 7: COD amount is released into your bank account within 5-7 working days after withdrawal request (COD charges will be deducted from the total amount directly).

👉 COD payment option is available on the ‘Single Parcel‘ page after you’ve booked a COD courier.

📢 Users requesting to withdraw money from the ‘COD Settlement’ page must ensure to update your bank details beforehand in the ‘Bank Information’ tab located in your ‘Profile‘ page.

Q: What happens when the receiver is not home / unable to pay cash to the courier upon delivery?
A: In such an event, the receiver may request for a re-attempt delivery for another day to your chosen COD courier. For more information, please contact our customer service team who’ll be able to assist you further.

Q: Are card payments, e-wallet payments, QR payments, and online banking accepted as an alternative to make payment for the parcel(s) should the receiver fail to pay in cash?
A: Unfortunately, no. All transactions from the receiver to the courier shall be made in cash payment only.

Q: How will COD charges be charged onto my COD amount?
A: COD charges will be based on the fix rate or percentage fee set by the courier, and will be deducted directly from the COD amount set by you. For example, if you book Pgeon Prime to ship your parcel at the COD amount of RM100:-

Pgeon Prime COD charges of RM4 or 3%, whichever is higher:
RM100 x 3% = RM3

As RM4 is the higher COD charges, this amount will be deducted directly from RM100 when you request to withdraw your COD amount from the ‘COD Settlement‘ page.

Q: When am I able to request for my COD amount to be withdrawn into my bank account?
A: You can request a withdrawal within 7-14 working days once your shipment is delivered. Check the status of your parcel(s) in the ‘COD Settlement’ page. If it is shown as ‘To Release’, you are able to request by clicking on the ‘Withdrawal’ button at the top of the page.

Q: When will my COD amount be released into my bank account after requesting a withdrawal?
A: The EasyParcel team will be working to release your COD amount into the bank account provided in the ‘Bank Information’ tab of your ‘Profile‘ page within 5-7 working days after request. Remember to keep your bank information updated so that we can release it into the correct bank account!

Q: What does the status under the ‘COD Settlement’ page mean?
A: The status indicates the stages that your COD order is under. Understand what each important status means by referring to this table:

PendingUsers’ shipment status will enter this stage after purchasing a COD order. In this status, users are unable to request withdrawal for any COD amount.
