General
These terms and conditions (“this T&C”) govern your use of this website and application programming interface (“API”) (“Site”), services, products, information, and functions made available on the Site (collectively as “Services”) and purchase of product listed on this Site, which is provided by EasyParcel. By accessing this Site, you are indicating your acknowledgement and acceptance of this T&C and our Privacy Policy.
Definition
Wherever used in this T&C unless the context shall otherwise require each of the following words or expressions shall have meaning stated against it: -
“Consignment(s)” or “Shipment(s) or “Parcel(s)” - means goods, whether a single item or in bulk or contained in one parcel, package or container, as the case may be, or any number of separate items, parcels, packages or containers sent at one time in one load by or for the Consignor from one address to one address
“customer(s)” or “you” or “your” - means the individual or organisation that uses EasyParcel’s Site and Services
“EasyParcel” or “we” or “our” or “us” - means EasyParcel Sdn. Bhd. (Company No.: 1028666-H)
“Prohibited Items” - means prohibited items as stipulated under EasyParcel’s Prohibited Items List.
“Receiver” or “Consignee” - means the person to whom the goods are required to be delivered as specified in the Shipment order.
“Sender” or “Consignor” - means a person that delivers goods to a consignee or receiver in a consignment
“Packaging Guidelines” - means EasyParcel’s Packaging Guidelines.
“Privacy Policy” - means EasyParcel’s Privacy Policy.
Your Consent
- By clicking a box indicating acceptance or clicking "create account" or "sign in/login" and installing, downloading, entering, connecting to, accessing and/or merely using our Site, you:
- acknowledge that you have read and understood this T&C and our Privacy Policy;
- represent that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement with EasyParcel; and
- agree that you are legally bound by this T&C and our Privacy Policy.
- EasyParcel reserves its right to modify, vary, amend, change and/or update this T&C at any time as we deem fit without prior notice to you. Such modifications, variations, amendments, changes and/or updates to this T&C shall be effective upon the posting of an updated version on our website. Your use of the Site and/or the Services after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes. You are advised to regularly review this T&C posted on our website of such changes.
Obligations to Our Customers
- EasyParcel’s Obligations
- EasyParcel will arrange for the delivery process with a third-party broker service that has major reputable couriers, from collection to delivery of the Consignment(s) or any other services as may be made available by EasyParcel from time to time
- EasyParcel DOES NOT come into direct contact with the Consignment(s) but arranges the Shipment through any one of the couriers that we hold an account with
- The courier has the right to refuse a Consignment for a given reason such as insufficient packaging or the Consignment being too large. EasyParcel reserves the right to refuse any order or user from our system
- All queries/claims must be directed through EasyParcel, which will then contact the relevant courier on behalf of the Sender. Under no circumstances should there be direct contact between the Sender and the appointed courier. If that happens, EasyParcel may not be able to assist the Sender
- Being a Receiver, if you fail to collect your ordered item during the delivery time, please contact EasyParcel to request an alternate collection time
- Take note that your account credits will be deducted from your account by our automated system at the end of your order
- Universal tracking of Shipments connecting all couriers is available on our website
Prohibited Items with Limited Liability
- Please note that certain items are Prohibited Items and cannot be sent by any of our Services. Kindly check your item against the Prohibited Item List here. If any one of the Consignments containing a prohibited item in the list is collected by the courier, EasyParcel reserves the sole and absolute right to either destroy, dispose of, submit to authorities, return (at the sender’s expense), intercept, hold and investigate the contents of (in the case of suspicion) such Prohibited Items, in whole or in part, and to charge you for any reasonable costs that have been incurred in doing so. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be solely liable to be surcharged if any one of the Prohibited Items has been collected by our courier. There will be no refund of the postage and no compensation claims.

Without prejudice to any terms and conditions contained in this T&C, you covenant with EasyParcel to indemnify and make good to EasyParcel any and all losses (including without limitation penalty charges by any relevant authority/body/party, inspection costs and/or costs incurred for the destruction/disposing of the prohibited items) (“Losses”) which EasyParcel may at any time or from time to time sustain, incur or suffer in connection with any attempt to send prohibited items and EasyParcel shall reserve the right to receive such payment for such Losses:
- by way of automatic deduction of EasyParcel Credits from your account;
- by way of automatic charges to your credit/debit card registered with us; or
- any other manner in light of insufficient amount or unavailability in items (a) and (b) above.
- Kindly note that additional charges will be incurred for each attempt to deliver Prohibited Items. You’ll be notified of the final amount when such an event occurs. EasyParcel reserves the right to receive or deduct such charges in accordance with Clause 4.2 above.
- The responsibility to read the terms and conditions or to check through our customer service, strictly lies upon you or you may contact us to check if your Consignment is acceptable.
- EasyParcel has the right to intercept, hold and investigate the contents of any Consignment that is suspected to contain Prohibited Items and/or is suspected to be fraud-related. If necessary, EasyParcel has the right to notify the police or the relevant authorities.
Access to the Site and Services

You are required to:
- register and create an EasyParcel user account on the Site in order to access certain functions available on the Site or our Services; and
- register a minimum of one (1) debit or credit card on your EasyParcel account for verification purposes.
- You will be able to remove or delete your debit or credit card details saved in your EasyParcel account on the seventh (7th) month from the date of the last service order you have placed on the Site.
- To purchase EasyParcel courier service, kindly have a printer ready to print Air Waybill for each service order placed on your EasyParcel account; thereafter attach the physical copy of Air Waybill to your Consignment before passing your Consignment to the courier service provider. If you opt for Pgeon Paperless services, a printed Air Waybill is not required.
- You are responsible to maintain the confidentiality and security of your password and username of your EasyParcel account as well as data or information on your EasyParcel account. You must immediately notify EasyParcel upon becoming aware of unauthorised access to your EasyParcel account.
- You shall not transfer your EasyParcel account to any third party without EasyParcel’s prior written consent.
- All the activities carried out in your EasyParcel account shall be deemed to be carried out by yourself, or a person designated to have the power or authority to do so by you. The person placing the order is responsible for the information entered. EasyParcel shall not be held responsible for wrong information that is entered and no refunds will be given in this instance.
- You hereby give your consent to the processing of your personal information by EasyParcel in accordance with our Privacy Policy set forth in https://easyparcel.com/my/privacy.
- You agree that you have procured the consent of the data subject for the use of our Site and Services to process his or her personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for us to send the data subject any marketing content.
- In accessing and using the Site and Services, you agree to follow, not to violate and not to cause EasyParcel to violate all the applicable laws, regulations and directives (including but not limited to Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588) and any applicable anti-spam laws).
Payment Method
- You may top-up purchase credit in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) into your EasyParcel account to be used for payment of any Services or products as may be purchased on the Site (“EasyParcel Credits”).
- Our automated system deducts EasyParcel Credits available in your EasyParcel account for payment at the end of each of your orders. You may also opt to pay using any other payment method available for payment before the completion of your order.
- Once payment for a top-up package or EasyParcel Credit is completed, NO refunds will be given.
- Your EasyParcel Credits in each EasyParcel account will remain valid only for one (1) year from the date of the previous top-up payment date (“Active Period”). EasyParcel will notify you of the expiration of the Active Period not later than one (1) month before the date on which your EasyParcel Credit would expire. If there is no new top-up of EasyParcel Credit within the Active Period, all unutilised EasyParcel Credits (including referral credits) will expire at the end of the Active Period. No credit or refund shall be due to you for expired or unused credits or services.
Collection & Delivery
- Our Site takes all booking data as per the customer’s input when using the Quote & Book system. If the collection does not happen or was not given within the time slot allocated or has been delayed, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify EasyParcel here of a failed or partial or delayed collection. We will use our best endeavour to rearrange another collection at the customer’s convenience. In the event of a failure to report such failed or partial or delayed collection, the order will only remain valid for seven (7) days; subsequently, the order will automatically be cancelled through the system without refund and compensation.

- The Sender or representatives are expected to be at the collection address during collection hours as stated under the couriers’ service info. No refunds and recollection of Consignment for unattended collection.
- Please note that all guaranteed services start once the Consignment is collected. No refunds will be given once the Consignment has been collected by courier riders and/or dropped at the collection point or the courier branch. If the collection fails, it is the customer's responsibility to notify EasyParcel to reschedule for the next collection. No refunds or discounts for failed collections.
- If the Receiver is not available at the time of delivery, the courier service provider will try a second or third delivery attempt (subject to the appointed courier companies). If there is no response from the Receiver after the second or third attempt, the Consignment will be returned to the Sender.
- Third party collections: Third Party Collection happens when the customer arranges the collection to be done by a third party, with a delivery address other than the account holder. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure there is somebody at the third-party collection address to hand the goods to the courier.
- Track & Trace details will only be available after the collection of the Consignment.
- The Sender must request a signature on the Sender’s Copy or PL9 form (applicable only for Pos Laju shipments) from the courier rider upon collection. For couriers other than Pos Laju, we encourage you to utilise the courier manifest (please see here) when handling the Consignment(s).
- Neither EasyParcel nor the courier holds any responsibility on Shipments that are without Consignment Note during transit of the Consignment. One air waybill number is only for ONE Shipment/Consignment/parcel/carton. Sharing of one air waybill for multiple numbers of separated Shipments is strictly prohibited.
- As for on-demand services, no cancellation or refunds once an order has been successfully placed.
- If the order of the Services has been cancelled, you must not pass the Consignment to the courier for delivery. Any Consignment delivered under a cancelled order shall be at your own risk. Neither EasyParcel nor the courier shall be held liable if the Consignment is not able to be tracked in the system or lost.
- An email will be sent to the Receiver for review after the Consignment has been successfully delivered by the courier provided that EasyParcel was given the Receiver’s email address by the Sender.
Surcharges
- By entering the weight and dimensions of your Consignment/s, you agree to pre-pay for the postage of such Consignment.

To calculate the total postage of each Consignment, EasyParcel will take into consideration:
- the dimensions and weight of each Consignment in charging for our courier service(s); and
- if the actual weight of a Consignment is different from the volumetric weight (VW), the higher weight of the Consignment.

The courier will check on the dimensions and weights of each Consignment after the collection of the Consignment. In the event we have been notified that the dimensions and/or weight of a Consignment have been under-declared by you based on EasyParcel’s record, you agree that:
- that the calculation of our charges will be revised with the weight and/or dimensions that have been reasonably determined;
- if based on EasyParcel’s record the actual Consignment is heavier or larger than the weight and/or dimension you have entered prior to placing that order, we may charge any additional charges for such event including price difference in accordance with our current rates and may also charge an administration fee for correcting such underpayment/additional charges (collectively “Additional Charges”). Additional charges will be at EasyParcel's normal rate;
- the Additional Charges will be charged directly to the debit or credit card as registered under your EasyParcel account or will be deducted from EasyParcel credit available in your EasyParcel account; and
- we may suspend your EasyParcel account until the Additional Charges are received by us. If we exercise this right, we shall not be liable to you in any circumstances for any costs or losses arising directly or indirectly that you may suffer as a result of the suspension.
- Additional charges for redelivery of any Shipment may be imposed if the Sender or a person representing the Sender was not available at the Shipment venue during the period set for collecting the Consignment (of which were set during the Shipment order).
- Further additional surcharges may also be imposed on the Shipments that are meant to be to be collected and/or sent to outskirt areas.
- The process of booking and charging for delivery is done by the automated system. If the Consignment has to be returned, then the return charge is chargeable.
- If there are any customs charges, residential charges, outskirt delivery area (ODA) charges, or any other additional surcharges incurred by the courier in respect of any Services purchased from EasyParcel, we will charge it to the debit or credit card recorded in your EasyParcel account or it will be deducted from EasyParcel Credit available in your EasyParcel account.
- We may supply documents that should be attached with your Shipment(s). You will be advised of this at the time of ordering. You may be charged a higher premium or experience delayed Shipment should the documents are not attached.
- You acknowledge and agree that the rate of the postages/fees posted on our website and/or our other platforms are subject to change, and the rate of the postage/fees may be revised, amended, or updated by EasyParcel from time to time or any time without notice. The latest rate will be quoted at the time you place the order.
- Please also be advised that your account status will be renewed/revised according to your most recent top-up package, and you are only entitled to the rates, benefits and/or discounts offered under your latest top-up package. All rates, benefits and/or discounts offered under your previous package are deemed terminated and of no further force or effect.
International Shipments
- Shipment charges are calculated according to the higher actual or volumetric weight and any Shipment(s) may be re-weighed and re-measured by a related courier for calculation confirmation. For more information, please refer to our Packaging Guidelines. The Sender shall pay or reimburse the courier for all shipping charges, ancillary charges, duties, and taxes owed for the services provided by the courier or incurred by the courier on behalf of the Sender or the Receiver or any third party and all claims, damages, fines, and expenses incurred if the Shipment is found unacceptable for transport.
- If a Shipment requires carriage combining air, road or other modes of transport, it shall be deemed to have been carried by air.

Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): EasyParcel offers two convenient terms of payment with regard to international shipments i.e., Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) or Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).
- In a DDP shipment, the Sender will bear all expenses of transportation, customs clearance (including import clearance fees and duties, handling expenses and all other charges associated fees with the delivery of the Consignment on behalf of the Receiver/Consignee and these charges will be included when the Sender pays for the shipment. The Sender shall ensure that (i) the details of the Consignment are correct and accurate (including the value of the Consignment(s)), (ii) the Consignment is ready for unloading, and (iii) the Consignment fulfils export and import responsibilities. - In a DDU (Incoterms 2000) shipment, it is the Receiver/Consignee’s responsibility to pay for any of the destination country's customs charges, duties, or taxes and the additional charges to be imposed by our courier partners when the Consignment arrives at destination country customs. These must all be paid in order for the customs to release the Consignment after it arrives. If the Receiver/Consignee refuses to accept a Shipment or refuses to make a payment or is unreachable, our courier partners shall be entitled to charge the foregoing charges directly to the Sender. - Please be advised that in both DDP and DDU shipments, the relevant customs and/or couriers shall have the right to charge additional charges on the Receiver or Sender if the Sender has misdeclared (quantity, quality, description, weight, and measurement of goods) or false declaration (misclassification or undervaluation) of the Consignment(s) according to the destination country’s customs assessments.
- EasyParcel shall not be liable for any refund of the shipping fees and DDP or DDU charges for all lost or damaged Consignments under the DDP or DDU shipments after the Consignment has been collected by our courier partners. All claim requests for lost or damaged Shipments shall be made in accordance with Clause 11. Please be advised the compensation limit shall be based on the value declared during booking, the value stated on the purchase invoice, or the maximum coverage offered by our courier partners, whichever is lower.
- The Sender and/or the Receiver shall comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations, including any recommendations or requirements of the relevant customs and/or similar domestic or international organisations. The relevant customs shall have the right to return/dispose/confiscate/seize any Consignment that it deems as a prohibited/dangerous item or a threat to public safety. In the event of the foregoing, please be informed that all shipping fees (including the return to origin charges) and customs duty or tax levied on such Consignment by the relevant customs or other incidental charges will be charged back to the Sender’s account.

Without prejudice to any terms contained in this T&C, you covenant with EasyParcel to indemnify and make good to EasyParcel any and all additional/extra charges (including without limitation the additional/extra duties, taxes and redelivery charges) (“Extra Charges”) which EasyParcel may at any time or from time to time sustain, incur or suffer in connection with any additional weight/dimension of your Consignment(s) and EasyParcel shall reserve the right to receive such payment for such Extra Charges:
- by way of automatic deduction of account credits from your EasyParcel account;
- by way of automatic charges to your credit/debit card registered with us; or
- any other manner in light of insufficient amount or unavailability in items (a) and (b) above.
- For collected Shipment that has not yet left Malaysia but has to be returned to the Sender due to any circumstances, the delivery charge is subject to the rate charged by the courier companies.
Delay/Damage/Loss
- Any item that is listed in our Prohibited Items List will be exempted from any claim against delay, damage and loss. Please check our Prohibited Items List for more information.
- Your Consignment(s) must be packed to a professional standard. Any claim resulting from a Consignment that is not packaged to a professional standard will be rejected. We strongly advise you to pack the Consignment(s) in a packaging flyer or double-walled box with further padding surrounding the item. Please see our recommended Packaging Guidelines on how to package your item correctly. Please be advised that you are solely responsible to ensure the Consignments are properly and securely packed. EasyParcel and the appointed courier owe you no duty to inspect or check the packaging and shall not be responsible or liable for any delay/damage/loss in relation to poor or improper packaging of the Consignment.
- In the event of damage all packaging must be kept for inspection. The item must be available for inspection in the state it was delivered, at the address it was delivered. If the item is moved and/or repaired or if the packaging is not kept, the claim will be rejected.
- Any item travelling through our Services must be able to withstand a short drop. Fragile items should not be sent through our Services. Any item that is damaged as a result of a fall, with the external packaging intact will therefore be declined.
- If the external or outer packaging is intact, then any claim for damage to the Consignment will be invalidated as the internal packaging would not have been sufficient to protect the item.
- EasyParcel will not refund all fees and charges paid (including but not limited to shipping fees and DDP or DDU charges) for all lost or damaged Consignments due to any cause beyond our control.
- All lost Consignment (delivered to the wrong Receiver, consignment content is missing or swapped, no update on tracking status after collected by courier rider/dropped off to courier branch or point) and damaged Consignments must be reported or directed to us within the time frame specified by each courier companies from the delivery of the Consignment based on EasyParcel's record.
- All lost and damaged Consignments(s) reported after the specified time frame will not be eligible for the compensation claim. EasyParcel and service providers will not be responsible for any delay in responding to you about the same. Please see the table below for the specific time frames for each courier company.
- The compensation limit shall be based on the value declared during booking, the value stated on the invoice, or the maximum coverage offered by courier companies, whichever is lower. Please see Table A below.
- Please be advised that for any Consignment which exceeds the maximum coverage offered by the couriers or the service providers, it is advisable for you to secure an insurance coverage offered by EasyParcel i.e. EasyCover.

Please take note that the amount of compensation depends on the type and circumstances of the case upon a thorough investigation conducted by the courier or the service provider. Upon receipt of your request form submitted through our website, your complaint/request will be escalated to the service provider. If, upon inspection or investigation, the delay/damage/loss was not caused by the carrier or the service provider, neither the carrier, the service provider nor EasyParcel shall be under any liability to pay any compensation to you.

- With regard to the Shipment that is yet to be delivered, this must be reported to EasyParcel within twenty-five (25) days from consignment collection date, failing which EasyParcel or the courier provider has the right to reject such claim. You may report the issue through our website or contact us here for more info.
- In order for us to review your report, please state your EasyParcel order/tracking number with a detailed description of your claim/complaint. Please allow two (2) working days for us to review all details of the claim before we contact you through here.
Liability and Claims
- EasyParcel’s liability is strictly limited to direct loss and damage of a Consignment/Shipment and subject to the compensation limits set out in Table A above. All other types of loss or damage are excluded (including but not limited to lost profits, income, interest, future business or other business or financial benefits), whether such loss or damage is special or indirect, and even if the risk of such loss or damage was brought to EasyParcel’s attention before or after acceptance of the Consignment.
- Each service comes with a limited amount of basic insurance coverage offered by courier companies (please refer to Table A above). If you require full coverage on your Consignment, you may opt for additional insurance such as EasyCover. The additional insurance purchase will replace the basic insurance coverage offered by courier companies. - Please be advised that claim and basic insurance coverage is limited to one claim per consignment under a single Consignment Note only, not by the unit of parcel in a multi-parcel consignment.
- For lost domestic shipment, extra insurance coverage – EasyParcel InsurePlus will be provided on top of basic insurance provided by the courier companies. Users are guaranteed to be reimbursed for EasyParcel Credit worth Ringgit Malaysia Fifty (RM50.00) or based on the Consignment’s value, whichever is lower. - In the event of a claim, a cost invoice and photos will be needed to prove the value of the Consignment(s) for all damage claims. Feel free to contact us here for more info.
- If the Consignment is not sufficiently packed or without proper labelling or the item is listed in our Prohibited Items, the claim will be rejected. Please refer to our Packaging Guidelines and Prohibited Items before placing an order.
- All claims or demands must be reported within the specific time frames by each courier company (please see Table A above) and subject to Clauses 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12 hereof.
- In the event of any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any invoice or other document or information issued by us on our website, such error or omission shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.
Liability Continued
- Each individual is only allowed to have ONE (1) personal and ONE (1) company account with EasyParcel. Shipment(s) with duplicated accounts will be cancelled and the account will be suspended without prior notice. Undelivered Shipments will be held in EasyParcel headquarter for thirty (30) days. Thereafter, the unclaimed Consignment will be disposed of and no longer be valid for claims.
- EasyParcel strictly prohibits unauthorised resellers from reselling any form of EasyParcel Services or products available on the Site. EasyParcel reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or otherwise limit unauthorised resellers or its customers' access to EasyParcel without any refunds to the remaining credit balance. EasyParcel shall have no obligation to maintain any messages or other content in suspended, restricted, or terminated accounts, or forward any unread or unsent messages to an unauthorised reseller, a customer, a user, or any other party.
- The Sender is solely responsible for the information he/she entered when placing the order. EasyParcel shall not be liable for claims or damages resulting from any inaccurate or incorrect information and there will be no refunds for such claims.
- EasyParcel applies the pre-paid charges on your behalf to the account with the appointed courier. Note that EasyParcel shall not be liable for the additional charges (if any).
- Limited to the customer who placed the order(s) with EasyParcel, we hold liability limited to the circumstances where the couriers are negligent when transporting the goods.

Loss or damage under the following conditions will not be compensated and covered:
- any occurrence that is not within EasyParcel or the service provider’s reasonable control;
- Act of God;
- Consequences of war;
- Insufficient, improper or incorrect packaging and/or labelling packaging; and
- Consignment with prohibited item(s)/content(s).
- EasyParcel will only deal with the account owner/holder.
- EasyParcel's total liability for any kind of loss, damage or liability arising under or in connection with this T&C, under any theory of liability, shall not exceed the amounts set forth in Clause 11.1 hereof. We will not be liable for any claim for any loss of profit, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, or indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the service you ordered.

- By booking in EasyParcel, you hereby acknowledge that you have read and agree to the provisions set forth in this T&C.
- Any approved claim shall be the full and final remedy and settlement for consignment loss and damage and all losses and damages in connection therewith. Thereafter, you shall not be entitled to any other payment from EasyParcel in respect of the same.
Cash On Delivery (“COD”) Services
- EasyParcel also offers a cash on delivery (COD) payment option for delivery within Malaysia. For the avoidance of doubt, COD services are not available for prohibited listings that are not allowed under EasyParcel’s COD service partners’ list of prohibited and restricted items. Kindly refer to the list of prohibited items of the respective COD service provider before placing your order. The Recipient is responsible for agreeing on an appropriate delivery window when the Recipient is contacted by the courier and for paying in full for the product upon delivery.
- Payment Method: Subject to this T&C, EasyParcel offers the Receiver/Consignee the convenient payment method made available through its COD service partners i.e. cash payment upon delivery of the Shipment.
- Service Areas: Please be advised that EasyParcel’s COD Services are dependent on the availability of the COD services provided by its appointed COD service partners. EasyParcel’s COD Services shall be applicable for parcel delivery within Malaysia only. Subject to EasyParcel’s COD service partner coverage area and area availability, EasyParcel, at its sole and absolute discretion, will expand the service areas and this T&C shall be revised from time to time without further notice.

Undelivered COD Shipments
- If, for any reason whatsoever, the Recipient refuses or fails to take delivery of the consignment/parcel/goods upon their arrival and availability at destination and upon expiration of any notice period as set forth in a notice of arrival, availability or demand given by EasyParcel, COD charges will not be imposed to an undelivered shipment. If the foreg oing occurs, no payment shall be made to the Sender.
- A shipment is considered as “undeliverable” due to the following circumstances, including but not limited to:
- The Recipient's address or contact number is incomplete, illegible, incorrect or cannot be located;
- The initial delivery attempt and reattempts are unsuccessful (reattempts are subject to the appointed courier);
- The Sender requests to cancel the delivery for any reason;
- The Sender fails to provide further instruction or information upon EasyParcel’s request;
- The Recipient refuses to receive the parcel or or refuses to pay the COD Amount;
- The Shipment would likely cause damage or delay to other Shipments;
- The Shipment contains prohibited items; or
- The Shipment’s contents were lost, or packaging of the Shipment is damaged to the extent that re-packaging is not possible;
In the event of the foregoing circumstances (save for lost or missing Shipment), the appointed COD service partner shall return the Shipment to the Sender (upon receipt of the return request from the Sender), with all shipping fees to be borne by the Sender.

Collection of COD Amount & COD Charges
- The collection of the COD Amount from the Recipient on behalf of the Sender (“COD Amount”) will be performed by EasyParcel’s appointed COD service partner, and the COD Amount is then deposited into the account of EasyParcel. Upon request from the Sender and provided that the Payout Amount is available for withdrawal and subject to EasyParcel’s successful verification, EasyParcel will remit the Payout Amount to the Sender’s account after deducting the COD Charges. - The limit of COD amount and the limit of insurance coverage shall be subject to the rate set by the appointed/designated courier companies. Please be advised to read the relevant courier companies’ T&C carefully before placing your order.
- Notwithstanding the above, no insurance coverage shall be insured for the restricted and prohibited item (see Clause 4 hereof).
- The Sender shall agree that EasyParcel’s COD service partner reserves the right to reject any request to collect payment from the Recipient at its reasonable discretion should the Sender provide insufficient or incomplete information.
- In case of a disagreement or dispute in the amount provided in the COD Amount schedule, the Sender shall only allow to cancel and request for refund before the parcel has been picked up for the delivery process. The Parties agree that the amounts provided in such COD Amount schedule shall be deemed accurate and final if no revised version of the COD Amount schedule has been received by EasyParcel’s COD service partner before parcel pick-up. After the parcel has been picked up, no modification of the COD amount shall be allowed.
- Notwithstanding any clause in this Agreement to the contrary, in the event of a weight discrepancy and/or dispute, you agree that EasyParcel shall be entitled, at its sole discretion, to set off or deduct any amount due and payable to EasyParcel from or against the amount of the COD Amount collected.

Remittance of Payment
- The total payout amount which is going to be released to the Sender shall be the value after deducting the COD Charges and any amount owed to EasyParcel as per Clause 13.6.6 from the COD Amount (“Payout Amount”).
- Only the Shipment marked as “delivered” shall be remitted to the Sender. As for the Shipment under other statuses or if your parcel has been picked up/dropped off, but the order status of the Shipment remains not updated, please contact our customer service team.
- Remittance of the Payout Amount to the Sender will be made pursuant to Clause 13.7.1 above. You can check the availability of your Payout Amount here.
- Upon availability of your Payout Amount, you are required to complete EasyParcel’s account ownership verification process. Once your account ownership verification is completed successfully, you will be able to proceed with the withdrawal of your Payout Amount.
- The Sender shall be bound by and warrant the accuracy of all invoices, documents and information furnished to EasyParcel and the Sender agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EasyParcel against any penalty, liquidated damages, fines, including legal fees, resulting from any act, inaccuracy, or omission or any failure to make timely presentation of the invoice.
- The Sender agrees that EasyParcel shall be deemed to have satisfied its obligations after EasyParcel remitted the COD Amount via bank account to the Sender’s designated account.
- Compensation & Liability: All claim requests for lost or damaged Shipments shall be made in accordance with Clause 11 hereof.
The Sender’s Representations, Warranties and Indemnities

The Sender shall indemnify and hold harmless EasyParcel, including its officers, directors, employees, parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and agents from and against all claims, actions, proceedings, demands, costs, expenses, damages, fees (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis), expenses, penalties, liabilities or any losses whatsoever suffered or incurred by EasyParcel (whether direct or consequential) which arises including but not limited to:-
- the misrepresentation of the authenticity of the Consignment items;
- the value of the Consignment items;
- the Shipment is unacceptable for transport under Clause 4 hereof;
- the Sender shall bear responsibility for procuring the authenticity of all COD items;
- the Sender has complied with applicable export control, sanctions, customs laws and regulations or other applicable regulatory requirements and restrictions related to the import, export, transit or transfer of the items/goods;
- the Sender has provided all information, permits, licenses or other government authorisations and documents, as required by applicable law or upon request from EasyParcel, and all information, permits, licenses or other government authorisations and documents provided by Sender or its representatives are true, complete and accurate, including the value and description of the goods and the Sender and the Recipient information;
- when providing personal data to EasyParcel, the Sender has complied with its legal obligations to process and share the data, including informing the affected individuals that personal data, including the Receiver/Consignee’s email address and mobile phone number, is required for transport, customs clearance and delivery; or
- any breach of this T&C.
- For the avoidance of doubt, all acts, breach, omission and negligence of the Sender’s personnel, affiliates, contractors, employees, agents and any person or entity acting on behalf or under the Sender’s control or direction shall be deemed to be committed by the Sender.
- The Sender further warrants that the bank account details provided and/or any instruction on funds transfer made by EasyParcel does not involve or facilitates any bribery, corruption, money laundering activities, terrorist financing or criminal activities and is in compliant with all applicable requirements and regulations as set out in the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 (Act 613)(“the Act”). In the event that the Sender refuses or does not provide the necessary information and documents requested or if EasyParcel is unable to verify the necessary matters as mandated by the Act, EasyParcel reserves the right to terminate and or suspend its services with immediate effect, upon written notice to the Sender.
Collection and Use of Your Information
- You acknowledge that when you access and use our website or services, we may use automatic means (including, for example, cookies and web beacons) to collect information about your use of our Services. You may also be required to provide certain information about yourself as a condition for accessing and using our Site or Services or certain of its features or functionality. All information we collect through or in connection with our services is subject to our Privacy Policy.
- We will process and may disclose data relating to you, and you consent to the processing and disclosure of such data. You agree to keep us informed of any changes to your personal data at all material times.
Your Content
- If your intellectual property rights restrict our use of your content (including but not limited to messages, reviews of our Site or Services, ratings, suggestions, comment, profile photo or other content you provide to us using our Site or submit or post to our Site, and all results from processing such text, information, data, materials, images, or content using our Site)(collectively as “User Data”)., you agree to grant EasyParcel with a non-exclusive, transferable and sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to access, use, process, store, display, distribute your User Data, subject to our Privacy Policy (“License”). The License will be used to operate, improve and promote EasyParcel’s Services and develop new functions and services, and perform the service(s) or product(s) purchased by you.
- EasyParcel is not responsible for the accuracy of your content, security, privacy, storage, and transmission of your User Data and communication using our Sites or Services.
- EasyParcel is not aware of and does not review, monitor, or edit any User Data or content created by you. You are solely responsible to obtain the necessary consent before sending SMS messages or emails to any recipients.
- By posting, uploading, or submitting the User Data on our Site, you represent and warrant to us that you have the ownership rights, or you have obtained all necessary licenses or permissions from any relevant parties, to use the User Data in this manner. This includes obtaining the right to grant us the rights to use the User Data in accordance with this T&C. You are in the best position to judge whether the User Data is in violation of intellectual property or personal rights of any third-party. You agree to pay all royalties, fees, and any other monies owed to any person by reason of the User Data.
- Further, to the extent permitted under applicable law, you waive and release and covenant not to assert any rights that you may have in the User Data. If you identify yourself by name or provide a picture or audio or video recording of yourself, you further authorise us and our affiliates, licensees and sublicensees, without compensation to you or others, to reproduce, print, publish and disseminate in any format or media (whether now known or hereafter created) your name, voice and likeness throughout the world, and such permission will be perpetual and cannot be revoked for any reason, except as required by applicable law. You further agree that we may use the User Data in any manner that we deem appropriate or necessary for providing the Services to you. If you do not agree to our use of your name, picture, audio or video recording in accordance with this Clause 14.5, you must not provide or upload the aforementioned data on our Site.

You must avoid:
- abuses, harasses, stalks, threatens or otherwise violates the rights of any third party;
- is defamatory/ libellous, obscene, offensive, fraudulent, demeaning, immoral, harmful, indecent, sexually orientated, racially offensive, profane, rumour, pornographic, misleading, or otherwise objectionable or unlawful; or
- contains viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programmes that may damage the operation of the EasyParcel or third party's computer system or network
EasyParcel and Third-Party Software and Application Programming Interface (“API”)

EasyParcel’s API
- EasyParcel grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable, and royalty-free license to access to API that may support your system integration with EasyParcel web application (“EasyParcel’s API”) and API documentation (“EasyParcel’s API Documentation”), both of which are created and written by EasyParcel or its affiliate.
- EasyParcel grants the right to use its API and API Documentation by making available on EasyParcel’s portal (i) publishable and secret API keys (“API Keys”) for live and transaction tests; and (ii) API Documentation

You shall not:
- use EasyParcel’s API for any purpose, function or feature not described in EasyParcel’s API Documentation or otherwise communicated by EasyParcel to you;
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute or syndicate access to EasyParcel’s API or EasyParcel’s API Documentation;
- access EasyParcel’s API or EasyParcel’s API Documentation in violation of any law;
- access EasyParcel’s API that compromises technical and security measures related to the Services;
- reverse engineer EasyParcel’s API; and
- publish to and share EasyParcel’s API Keys with an unauthorised person.
- You must immediately notify EasyParcel upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use of API Keys and other security issues regarding the Services.
- EasyParcel may update the API Documentation from time to time without notice to you.
- If you provide any feedback or suggestion in relation to EasyParcel’s API or EasyParcel’s API Documentation, you shall grant EasyParcel perpetual, unlimited, irrevocable, sub-licensable, transferable, royalty-free license to use that feedback or suggestion.

EasyParcel does not warrant or represent that:
- EasyParcel’s API will respond to your system all the time;
- EasyParcel’s API will connect to your system all the time;
- Data exchanged via API will not be lost or duplicated;
- The functions on EasyParcel’s API will be available all the time; and/or
- EasyParcel’s API will be compatible with your system or computer configuration.
Third-Party’s API
- We may use third-party software and APIs when providing our Services on our Site. We do not guarantee the reliability of such third-party software or APIs. You agree that EasyParcel shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred or suffered by you arising out of our use of such third-party software or APIs. Updates and Upgrades to our Site
- EasyParcel strives to provide the best possible experience and information to its users. You hereby acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Site which we provide, may require effecting certain changes in it, therefore, EasyParcel reserves the right to suspend/cancel, or discontinue any or all products or services at any time without notice, make modifications and alterations in any or all of its contents, products and services contained on our Site without any prior notice. You agree to hold us harmless in respect of any losses which you may suffer due to us disabling your access to your EasyParcel account, including not being able to utilise or fully utilise the fee which you have paid to us.
Late Deliveries
- You acknowledge and agree that we have no control over the courier companies and that we assume no liability to you or any other party with regard thereto. We are not responsible or liable for the courier companies’ failure or delay of performance caused by act of God, explosion, flood, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown of the vehicle, or obstruction of any public or private road or highway, tempest fire or accident, interruptions, loss or malfunctions of utilities, communications or computer (software or hardware) services, pandemic, epidemic, medical emergency or disease outbreak, war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition, acts, restrictions, regulations, by-laws prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority, import or export regulations or embargoes, strikes, riots, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes.
- We shall not in any circumstances be liable for any late delivery or missed delivery or failure to deliver caused by or contributed to by any deficient or ambiguous labelling of a parcel and you agree to be solely responsible for ensuring that such labelling is clear, correct and unambiguous.
Suspension and Closure of Account

You agree and understand that EasyParcel has the right to immediately suspend your account (without any compensation to you) if any of the following events occur:
- there is an outstanding arrears owing and payable to EasyParcel;
- EasyParcel deems, in its sole discretion, that you have violated any term of this T&C or our Privacy Policy or any other agreement, rule, policy, code of conduct, procedure and/or regulation published on our Site (including there being discovered of any dishonesty, suspected fraud, illegality, criminality or misrepresentation in your use of your EasyParcel Account);
- during the period of investigation in respect of any dispute or complaint made by the service provider, as the case may be, against you;
- if in EasyParcel’s sole opinion, you have acted in bad faith or with malicious intent;
- upon the request of the carriers. For example, harmful tobacco products are illegal and prohibited in Singapore. If you send this item from Malaysia to Singapore and is being inspected by the carrier, they will notify us to suspend your account; and/or
- any other circumstances deem reasonable by EasyParcel or the courier service provider.
- Account holders may close their EasyParcel account by submitting the request here. Our approval to such termination application is subject to you completing all account outstanding, including remaining charges, dispute fee or administration fee required should be paid off by the account holder before the closure of the account. EasyParcel account closure may be subject to the administration fee imposed by EasyParcel.
Confidentiality
- You must treat all the communication between you and EasyParcel including its employees or courier service provider as confidential. You must not disclose such communication without EasyParcel’s prior consent.
- Your content in your EasyParcel account will be considered non-confidential.
Miscellaneous
- Our Site and Services are provided to you on an “as is where is” basis and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. No advice or information whether oral or written, obtained by you from our Site or any materials or content available through our Site will create any warranty that is not expressly stated in this T&C. You assume all risk for any damage that may result from your use of or access to our Site, and any material or content available through the same.
- We will not provide any refund or reduction of charges for cases when the number of parcels received is less than what have stipulated in the contract.
- EasyParcel provides free flyers, starter pack and thermal printer distribution as a seasonal gift, in which it depends on stock availability. We have the right to halt the distribution should the supply run out. The title and risk of the flyers, starter pack and thermal printers are passed to you immediately at the time of the delivery of the same.
- Products-Related: Products purchased on the Site may not be in stock after order confirmation. If EasyParcel is unable to fulfil your order, EasyParcel will reach out to you to replace the product ordered with an alternative product or refund the fee paid. EasyParcel will not be liable in any way for inaccuracy and incompleteness of the availability, description, and images of the products listed on our Site. The risk of the product purchased will pass to you immediately at the time of the delivery of the product. The title of the product will pass to you on the receipt of your payment by EasyParcel.
- We exclude all representations or warranties (whether express or implied) to the fullest extent permitted by law in respect of the product purchased on our Site or free flyers, starter pack and thermal printer provided to you by EasyParcel.
- This T&C shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia without regard to conflicts of law principles. If a dispute arises in connection with this T&C, you and EasyParcel agree to negotiate with each other to attempt to resolve it. In the event an amicable settlement cannot be reached through the negotiation(s), you and EasyParcel agree to refer such dispute and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Malaysia.
- In the event any provision of this T&C is found to be in conflict with any applicable laws, statutes or rules, such conflicting provision shall be deemed to be deleted under this T&C and cannot be enforced and effected, and the other provisions of this T&C shall continue in full force and impact, as if the conflicting terms, conditions or provisions were not originally contained in this T&C.
- You may not assign, transfer or sub-contract any of your rights and obligations under this T&C to any other person without our prior written consent. We may assign, transfer or sub-contract all or any of our rights and obligations under this T&C at any time without your consent to:
- our subsidiary or related/affiliated company;
- an acquirer of our equity, business or assets; or
- a successor by merger.
- This T&C shall be modified/updated/amended by EasyParcel from time to time. If we modify/update/amend our T&C, we will publish the latest version on our Site. You are advised to view our Site from time to time for our latest T&C. Your continued use of our products or services after any such change whether or not you received an email from us notifying you of any changes, constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
- Time shall be deemed to be fundamental for every condition in this T&C which primarily involves a stipulated period of time.
